Janet Reno (1938-2016) was an American lawyer who was both the first woman to serve as a State Attorney for Florida--she served Dade County (now Miami Dade) from 1978-1993--and also the first woman to serve as the Attorney General of the United States. The collection includes video recordings primarily recorded or created while Reno was Attorney General, and audio recordings documenting Reno’s run for Governor of Florida.
