This is an interview with Irma, who tells the story of her two sons, Carlos and Enrique, who joined the U.S. Navy. The family did not know where they were deployed as the Navy did not disclose that information. Their deployment took place during the Iraq War. However, after 7 years in the Navy, Enrique was given a medical discharge because he had a tumor in his back. Carlos remained in the Navy. Irma discusses the war in Afghanistan and the situation with the soldiers, and she questions the importance of war. The interview is about family values, relationships between the sons and their mom, and about fear and hope. She prays for all the soldiers because they are young men. She is patient and proud of her sons.
