A Mano Limpia (“clean hand”) is referring to speaking with Mel Martinez as a friend, not as a Senator. He gives brief history of how he became to be a politician and that he will not seek reelection following his term because he will go back into private practice. He talks about Jeb Bush becoming the next governor. When asked about choosing Sarah Palin as a running mate for John McCain, he says he doesn’t like to speculate the past, but look to the future. He talks about relations in Cuba, the economic crisis, the stimulus plan, the Hispanic force in the government, and how he views his legacy after leaving office.
