Interview with Yanick Landess, Director of Home Ownership Programs at Neighborhood Housing Services. This interview is about the services that this organization offers to their clients, such as affordable housing opportunities, financial counseling and coaching. This company works with funds that come from the government, banks and foundations, that help their portfolio of clients. Those clients can reach the agency’s services through phone calls or by email, in order to get an assessment. As the director of this program, Landess deals with foreclosures, unemployment, debts, taxes, and other urgent issues. This association makes individual plans for their clients, and help them to purchase or rent a home, especially helping low-income people. Among their clients are Hispanics, African Americans, and elderly people. This organization only provides service in South Florida.
