This is an interview of Johannes Orville Mosbo, who was born in Iowa. After finishing college, Johannes was drafted to the military and became a band musician for the military. After his military training in the state of Virginia, Johannes was sent to Europe where he completed his military training. He played in an army band for a long time, mainly in Vienna, Austria. He was drafted and discharged back to the US, but before that he took music lessons from the Philharmonic Orchestra in Vienna. While living in Vienna, Johannes saw soldiers stationed in the city from England, France and the Soviet Union. Johannes interacted only with the French and British soldiers, since the Soviet soldiers were very cautious about getting involved with the others. When Johannes came back from Europe, he decided to become a pastor of a Lutheran church in the Columbia River and Oregon. That was the time when he met his wife. They had children and traveled all around the world teaching the Bible.
