University of Miami Libraries (Coral Gables, Florida, USA), this webinar describes the successful development of the Libraries’
mindfulness program (founded in 2016), meditation space, and employee well-being collective. The webinar also provides details about a new initiative called “Breathe and Be” that has emerged through an innovative community partnership inspired by the
Kincentric Leadership Program.

Kelly Miller
Associate Dean for Learning and Research Services at University of Miami
Kelly E. Miller, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Learning and Research Services at the University of Miami Libraries in Coral Gables, Florida, where she is responsible for leading the development of services and programs that support students, faculty, and the broader community; has taught and worked in higher education as a scholar, teacher, and librarian for more than 20 years. She is also a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (MMTCP) and co-founder of the University of Miami Libraries’ Mindfulness Programs and Employee Well-Being Collective. She is also a participant in the new Kincentric Leadership Program, an experimental leadership program designed to address the climate emergency.
Guayana Paez-Acosta
Founder & CEO Athena Lab, USA
Guayana Paez-Acosta is an entrepreneur, facilitator, yogini, and meditation teacher; founder of Athena Lab for Social Change and co-founder of the Venezuela B Community. She is also a participant in the new Kincentric Leadership Program, an experimental leadership program designed to address the climate emergency. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of sustainability, she has worked in Latin America and the United States with academic, philanthropic, and civil society organizations, businesses, and multisector alliances.
